Diamond Alternatives

Currently, diamond sells are a $56 million annual industry with approximately 50% of those being sold in the United States. Sure, diamond stud earrings, a diamond tennis bracelet, diamond pendants, diamond wedding bands, and of course, diamond engagement rings are beautiful luxuries that have a strong symbol of love and devotion. However, the cost of diamonds is expensive in most cases, which is why diamond alternatives are an excellent option.

Think about a diamond for a minute. Yes, it is beautiful and yes, it is expensive. However, a diamond is truly a luxury, something that is wanted but not needed. If you want to show the love of your life how much you love him or her, there are diamond alternatives that represent the same thing as a diamond but without breaking the bank. In fact, manmade diamonds such as Moissanite are so amazingly real that it takes a trained eye to tell the difference.

Another excellent option for diamond alternatives are precious stones other than diamonds. For instance, emeralds, sapphires, and rubies are beautiful diamond alternatives that are very regal and elegant. Even Princess Diana had a large sapphire in place of a large diamond for her engagement ring. When it comes to engagement rings or other pieces of diamond jewelry, remember, it is perfectly fine to choose diamond alternatives. Sometimes, lab created diamonds are just a beautiful as the real thing.
