Cool Outdoor Stuff

Bandana Maps: Bandana Maps aren't brand new, but I had never seen them before. They are detailed topographical maps made onto a cloth that can be used as a bandana or scarf. They will also be coming out soon with some river specific maps. They have maps from selected areas in Alaska, Arizona, California, Canada, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. So you can wear it around your head or neck, not worry about it getting wet, and best part you don't have to figure out how to fold it up.

Coleman: Coleman is almost synonymous with lanterns and camping stoves. The Outlander stoves and lantern all provide electronic ignition for match-free lighting, ultra-compact, are lightweight design, powered by butane-propane blended fuel cartridges and weigh only 13.6 ounces. The X-series: Xtreme, Xpert and Xpedition stoves offer all-temperature high performance. Coleman Exponent also includes liquid fuel appliances in the Apex II lineup which includes three single burner stoves and a dual-fuel lantern.

Jeep: Jeep, known for its rugged off road vehicles, has come out with a line of outdoor items including: sunglasses, TV's, CD's, Boom Boxes, and bikes. The TV's, CD's, and Boom Boxes are encased in durable protection boxes with lids and rubber gaskets to protect from rain or inclement weather. Their bikes are very rugged looking with a choice of steel or aluminum frames and ranging from affordable beginner bikes to hi-tech bikes costing up to $1,400.

Silva Compass: Silva introduced a four in one compass that has a whistle, compass, thermometer, and a magnifying glass. It also floats.
